The Hindu Times reports sight of the minutes of Air India’s oversight committee that show Boeing has offered the airline $24 million for the losses suffered by the airline as a result of the repeated grounding of the 787. This is half the airline had requested to meet the costs incurred from the grounding of the aircraft, which the newspaper states was $48 million, according to a source. Neither Boeing nor Air India have confirmed the amount or have them made any comment on this issue.
