AIR INDIA DRAFTS IN AD AGENCY FOR MARKETING BLITZ

Air India has shortlisted four agencies to help it resurrect the brand image of the airline which suffered following huge losses and employee strikes.

The four agencies — Draft FCB Ulka, Inter Publicity Private Limited, Crayons Advertising and Saatchi and Saatchi — were narrowed down this month from a pool of 36.

“There are some big ticket developments lined up for the airline in coming few months which we plan to communicate to our customers and other stakeholders through this advertising campaign,” said an Air India official. For this purpose the airline has also upped its budget from Rs 50 crore per annum to around Rs 70 crore per annum, he said.
