Air Cote D’Ivoire to launch regional services

Air Cote D’Ivoire will launch regional services in July. The Ivory Coast airline is a partnership with Air France and the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED), the economic development agency of the Aga Khan Development Network.
The airline has been capitalised with XAF2.5 billion ($4.9 million) and the Ivory Coast government will retain a majority 51% stake in the new airline. Air France will hold 20% and the AKFED holding company will have 15%. The remaining shares will be held by private Ivory Coast investors.
