Africa World Airlines plans to launch flights from Accra-Lagos-Abuja-Port-Harcourt once it receives final approval from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). Once it starts flights, fares on Nigerian airlines currently operating on the routes competition are likely to fall thanks to the additional choice. Africa World Airlines plans to acquire more aircraft and gradually expand to regional destinations such as Ouagadougou, Abidjan, Port Harcourt, Conakry, Dakar and Banjul, but also Johannesburg Harare, Entebbe and Luanda.
