Irish flag carrier Aer Lingus has revised its previously pessimistic 2014 profit forecast, stating recent trading trends would allow the airline to meet original targets. Aer Lingus stated that it now expected its 2014 operating profit to be at least equal to the €61.1 million it made last year. In June Aer Lingus downgraded its profit forecast by 10-20%, warning that industrial action by cabin crew had damaged sales.
