Aer Lingus begins Ireland’s first direct service to Miami

Aer Lingus’ inaugural service direct to Miami, Florida took flight at 3pm on Friday 1 September from Dublin Airport. Flight EI141 operated by an Airbus A330-200 series is the first ever scheduled service between Ireland and Miami, Florida, which will operate as a three times weekly service from Dublin year-round. Together with Orlando, Aer Lingus now flies daily to Florida direct from Dublin.

Commenting on Aer Lingus’ inaugural flight to Miami, Florida, Declan Kearney, Director of Communications, Aer Lingus said: “We are delighted to launch our first ever flight to Miami. We remain focused on growing our transatlantic offering which not only caters for our own Irish market but very much appeals to the UK and European markets given the recognised benefits of travelling via Dublin to North America.”
