American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia are adding 317 codeshare flights to the 2,700 codeshares already operating between North America and Europe. Tickets for the new codeshare flights go on sale today. Iberia will place its code to 72 American Airlines flights and to 86 British Airways flights. The three carriers have also announced five new routes from March next year: Barcelona-Miami and Madrid-Los Angeles (Iberia), New York JFK-Budapest and Chicago-Helsinki (American Airlines), and London Heathrow-San Diego (British Airways).
